move bravely into dark places
We commit and willing to enter those dark places on the fringe where many youths, who have been marginalized, have been pushed. We are committed to taking the help and hope they need TO them.
boldly go where others won’t
We are not afraid to reach into that darkness either. We are willing to push the limits and even fail in our attempts to find and reach out to those who are broken, victimized, and oppressed. We endorse harm reduction whenever possible for teens who use drugs, sex workers, and those engaged in other high-risk behaviors.
transparent and vulnerable sharing
Believing that honesty is the foundation for any hope for a healthy and holistic lifestyle, we model honesty in our work with the community and in our administrative activity.
committed to healthy connection with all people
We are committed to helping build and model healthy community(ies), believing that healthy community(ies) produce healthy individuals.
advocating for justice and fairness for everyone
We embrace the fight for justice/advocacy as the voice of our conscience; believing that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We will advocate for everyone regardless of age, citizenship, color, disability, ethnicity, familial obligations, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, national origin or ancestry, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, or veteran status.
we will dare to dream and create new things
We strive for innovation and giving birth to new ideas and resources while aiming to be practical and useful to all people.
